Last week I participated in a Pinterest #pinparty hosted by Honest Company and Project Nursery and some of their other blogging friends. It was all about nautical themed nurseries, but as expect, since there are so many great nautical THINGS on Pinterest, it kind of turned into a party about nautical rooms, accessories, and decor. In my opinion (and I know I share this with many others out there) Nautical is one of those trends that looks the same from the 50s to now and is still fabulous.
While I watched as the #pinparty Pinterest board filled up with nautical ideas, I couldn’t help but notice a lack of PINK! I know navy is unisex (and don’t get me wrong, I LOVE it and love how it looks on my girls), but to quote my 4 year old Fancy Girl: “I don’t want blue because that’s a boy color.” I’m going to guess that most little girls will want some or maybe A LOT of pink (or a “girl color”) in their room, no matter what the theme is. So I set out to find “pink nautical” and/or “fancy nautical” for my own Fancy Girl board. Below are some of my finds and there’s definitely more to come!

If you want to join in on the #pinparty fun, they are hosting their second party tomorrow, August 8th and one of my favorite companies, Layla Grace, is participating. Can’t wait. Will you be there?
