One of the best things about shopping at a local boutique is the chance to stumble upon fun and unique products from smaller brands with a story. At a recent visit to a gift and stationary store in town, I was drawn to a shelf displaying petite minimalist packages of neon jewelry and hair accessories. I saw what looked like hand-crafted acrylic shapes of stars and horses, and bright pom pom hair elastics. It was fitting that these sweet little gifts were from a company called Meri Meri. I really wanted to get some of these for my girls for Easter, but since I was with my eldest, it would be difficult to hide my purchase. As soon as I got home, I hopped online to discover that Meri Meri is more than just accessories. The company, which got its start with hand-made stationary in 1985, has party supplies, baking products, storage, art prints, bedding and baking products.

I ended up buying a few things for the girls’ Easter baskets (priced at only $10 and up!) but this is definitely a year-round celebration company! Shop online or visit a local boutique to get even more inspiration.
