…brooch the subject of a little bling for her winter coat

My Fancy Girl loves going through my jewelry box. One morning she discovered a bunch of costume brooches that I used to wear regularly and have since tucked away with other remnants of my teaching career wardrobe. Since my FG already shares my love of fashion, I did not resist passing them on to her.

She felt fancy with some of mom’s bling on her new winter coat. I felt all warm and tingly seeing my jewelry being put to good use. We started with a cubic zirconia rhinestone brooch and have graduated to a 2nd purple one (shown below–the original has since moved onto a black puffer jacket). If you don’t have your own assortment of retired brooches, let us help you out! Below are just some ideas to get your started.

And as always, you can see more on Pinterest.
