With all the children’s fashion trends–and Disney character inspired collections–that come and go, one type of design will always be in style: Classic. I love traditional collections that are timeless in their craftsmanship and modern in color and pattern. That’s why I had to feature Rachel Riley for our first “Designer Spotlight.” The London based designer is known for her hand embroidery, knitting, and smocking and got her start making clothes for her children. Her clothing is available all over the world and, in 2005, she opened a U.S. flagship store on Madison Avenue in New York City. How Fancy!
Below are just a few picks from her Autumn/Winter 2012 collection that would be great for the holidays.
