In a little over a month, we’re going to be picking out our 1st day of school outfit and getting our supplies together. It’s like I can see that yellow bus rolling up the street! That means it’s Back to School shopping season! We recently got a jump start with our fall shopping with a few pieces from the July collection from FabKids. Even though the girls can still wear their summer clothes once school starts, we just couldn’t resist! And, with the rate at which popular clothes go out of stock, we had to snatch up our favorites when we could. (Not a member of FabKids yet? Join here)
My eldest has really gotten into wearing athletic-style leggings with graphic T’s to school in cooler temps. When FabKids activewear first launched, it had a lot of colors that she doesn’t like (mainly pink), but they’ve expanded the collection to include more blue and white- two of her favorite colors. This month we got the Work It Out Mesh Outfit. While it’s too hot to wear the leggings right now, she has already worn the mesh top many times with her favorite pair of destructed denim shorts. There’s definitely a place for activewear in more than just sport activity. And let’s not forget about the fringe high tops! Big Sis literally squealed when she saw them in her monthly picks. On a personal note, I’ve been trying to turn the girls onto fringe for months! It just took the right piece of clothing to make them see the light. And now, t’s full fringe ahead for fall! My middle Fancy Girl still has a very girly style, but has introduced a few new looks and colors to her outfit choices. She’s been wearing a lot more activewear since starting sports, but she still loves prints, sequins and lots of color! She’s also wearing more black, which she used to avoid. The Tres Chic dress spoke to her maturing girly side, and is neutral enough to wear with any style leggings and tights. She swapped the leopard leggings that came in the original outfit for the mini tribal print.
So tell me, is your Fancy Girl more sporty or chic? What’s her style personality?
