All of a sudden, my eldest Fancy Girl doesn’t like pink. She doesn’t want to wear the majority of the clothes in her closet and gives me that tween-angst face because she has “nothing to wear!” What she does like is blue (she was the girl who said “eeew blue is for boys”) and black & white. That works out perfectly for us since a) Frozen single-handedly made all shades of blue fashionable for girls, and b) black & white is a big fashion trend for kids this year. I’ve been building up our blue collection for some time, but the black & white has slowly lagged behind only because the color combination (or shade to be color specific) is a new preference for her. I shouldn’t be surprised by all this since she spends a lot of time playing in my closet, which has a lot of blue and black & white. Apple doesn’t fall too far, I know. I’m just thankful to FabKids for having so many black & white outfit options and separates to choose from.
So in honor of the black & white trend that is populating the kids’ fashion collections and my daughter’s wardrobe, here are some of my favorite picks for girls. There are even more in the Pinterest board. Product info is below.
