It took a few months, but I finally got the girls on board with fringe. I couldn’t believe it when I first showed them a new pair of fringe ankle boots and all they could do was make a face like I was trying to get them to wear some outdated fad. I was looking forward to a Fancy Girl bond over fringe, but it just wasn’t happening. Until it did. A few months ago, on a sponsored shopping trip at The Mills at Jersey Gardens, both girls picked out a grey fringe t-shirt at Carter’s. I was finally having some influence on them! To keep the momentum going, I picked up a few pairs of fringe sandals while on vacation earlier this month since I was in separate need of dressy-ish/date night shoes. Also while on vacation, when we made our FabKids monthly picks, my eldest made a plea for a pair black fringe high tops. She didn’t have to twist my arm, especially since she needed new kicks anyway. Aren’t they awesome? I don’t remember having this much style as a rising 3rd grader.
You could say that fringe footwear is officially IN with the Fancy Girls. If that’s on your shopping list too, take a look at some of our picks below. (The list contains affiliate links. Thanks for shopping!)
