A week from today, the live adaptation of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast will open in theaters nationwide. I already have tickets to take my older two that weekend, and we have been enjoying various teasers over the past few weeks. Last weekend, I took the girls to a Beauty and the Beast-themed Junior Chef demo at Williams-Sonoma, and the week before that, we enjoyed a local high school production of the musical. I certainly didn’t plan it to workout that way, but it has helped to build up excitement for the movie. And part of that excitement is the GapxDisney Beauty and the Beast collection from GapKids that we were sent for review.
The #fearlessbeauty collection for girls represesnts Belle’s adventurous spirit and the beauty of being bold, brave and kind. It features classic cuts and silhouettes in vintage tones of blue, yellow and chambray, and soft, elegant prints like pencil sketches of Belle and a yellow rose toile-like design (my personal favorite). And it wouldn’t be a 2017 kidswear collection without some patches on the jeans and denim jacket (seriously, how cool are those jeans! They’re super soft too). Below are just some of the looks, with prices starting at $24.95, with more at Gap.com.
And one little nugget of cuteness to leave you with… (I tried getting all three together one last time, but she just wasn’t having it)
