Is your Fancy Girl into football? If she dons your family’s favorite team colors or shouts at bad calls right along with you, then she’ll need some quick and easy pom poms to add some flair to her team spirit!   All you need is some tissue paper, scissors and tape to make cheerleading pom poms in your team colors. Check out the video of my Fancy Girls showing how its done, or read on for step-by-step instructions. And, if you’re planning a Super Bowl party, you can make a bunch ahead of time OR give the kids something fun to make at the party.

Materials:

• 4 sheets of tissue paper in your team colors
• A pair of scissors
• Tape

Instructions:

1. Select (at least) 4 sheets of tissue paper in whatever color combination you like
2. Cut thin strips about 3/4 of the way up the entire length of the tissue paper (this is a task for mom or dad)
3. Starting on one end your paper, gently roll it tightly, making sure to keep the ends of the tissue paper lined up. When you finish rolling, you’ll end up with handle to hold your pom poms (watch the video to see).
4. When you’re finished rolling, tape the the end so it’s nice and tight.
5. Give your pom pom a good shake and go enjoy the game!
