Can you believe we’re only 2 months away from Christmas? If your kids haven’t already started rattling off things they want from Santa, they will soon! Another thing to start thinking about is holiday wardrobe. And not just for family dinners and such, but for the holiday card too. And whether you live in an area (or continenet) where there’s snow at this time of year or summer, most retailers are rolling out their holiday and winter motif collections. An adorable children’s line for babies and toddlers appeared in one of my recent searches on Instagram and it was the perfect blend of festive without being too literal.
Little Spumkins is an Australian children’s clothing company for sizes 000 to 5 founded in 2011 by Jess Davis. According to Jess, the name and logo were inspired by her family: “Little Spumkins” was born from ‘Spumkin,’ the name my husband and I call each other 😍 combined with an inspiration from our three girls, Laura, Sophie and Mia (of which my logo inspiration was also based on).”
As a self-taught seamstress, Jess has always loved handmade goods and being crafty. “Every piece I make is made with love and care, and I keep my pieces to a minimum so they are truly unique and one of a kind.”
As a work at home mom, Jess fits in time for design between her tasks as wife and mother. Something I can relate to very well!
Little Spumkins‘ Christmas collection is available now (keep in mind that Christmas takes place during Summer in Australia). Other products include a pink gingham top, bloomers in various colors, and the most adorable little critter socks!
