How have you been feeling post-holiday binge? Well, I can honestly say that I’m feeling awesome since starting the Whole30 with my sisters. But the one thing that I let myself slack on was tracking my activity on the FitBit. But not anymore! With the urging from a friend in my neighborhood, I’m back at it and tracking my steps. In addition to using my FitBit to monitor my movements, I also use MapMyFitness since I can actually SEE how far I’m going. The other thing I love about it is that I can sync my heart rate monitor in order to calculate actual calories burned while I get my fitness on. All of this is self-motivated, but if you’re someone who wants some incentive to become a FitBit star, then you NEED to check out this incredible opportunity from Sports Authority.
Sports Authority presents the MapMyFitness Challenge – here’s how it works:
- Download & become a member of the FREE Sports Authority “The League” app – you can sign up at sportsauthority.com/theleague
- Earn 25 points when you link your League account with MapMyFitness, a training app that helps you go further by tracking activity levels, workouts and more
- Earn an additional 25 points when you link your fitness tracker with your accounts
And if you need some extra motivation after the New Year – record 50 miles on the app before February 1 and you will be eligible to win a $1,000 gift card! Just be sure to link your MapMyFitness and The League accounts and visit mapmyfitness.com/challenges to get in on the challenge!
