It’s Day 1 of the Fancy Girl holiday gift guide! This year, I have 7 days of gift ideas for the different personalities of fancy girls in your lives, including the grown-up kind.
As I mentioned before in my “Fancy Girl Promise” list, some of the “fancy” rules to live by include celebrating talents and pursuing dreams with hard work. Every Fancy Girl has interests that help define their Fancy-ness. From baking to building, this gift guide will help to foster your Fancy Girls’ creativity and ambition for the things that make them happy.
This guide was inspired by my own daughters’ diverse interests and budding talents. Day 1 is all about the Little Trendsetter. The word “trendsetter” is pretty broad and can mean something different for every child. Both my girls are very into fashion, but they have very different tastes. These picks were selected with the older trendsetter in mind, who has a more defined style preference, and who is more aware of popular trends. She has toned down the bright colors, but likes something a little funky or mature like a bowler hat, an infinity scarf, or a leather skirt. You can get away with dressing a young fashionista the way you like, but soon enough she will develop her own fashion personality.
